On March 20, 1973, only weeks after their first album was released, Aerosmith played the legendary music club Paul's Mall, in the basement of 733 Boylston Street in Boston. The performance, featuring a 24-year old Steven Tyler, was broadcast live on WBCN-FM, and the band was introduced by station announcer Maxanne Sartori, whose airplay of the group would later be credited with launching them. It would be the first time that most radio listeners had heard Aerosmith. One of the songs they performed was "I Ain't Got You," the Jimmy Reed song popularized by the Yardbirds.
