I played at the Boston Tea Party in July and September of '67 in a band called The 90th Congress. A documentary film was made on one of the dates - I think it was called Boston Underground, but I never saw it. Maybe it is still in the archives somewhere? There's nothing much on youtube at the BTP.

Agreed. Some folks use push/pull, and some of this comes from the "permission markeitng" concept from Seth Godin from about a decade ago. I also agree with you that social media and the ability to have a conversation (like this one) change the game. So maybe we need a new term?
